The Marshes Community Benefit Fund are delighted to award a grant of £4,500 to Helsby Tennis Club

The funding will allow the club to re-paint the Castle Park Tennis Courts. This will offer the best possible experience for the community and will enable tennis activities to be further developed at the courts.

The tennis club is a not-for-profit organization Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) which aims to provide everyone the opportunity to enjoy great quality tennis whatever their age or ability. They work hard to ensure they reach out to encourage as many people as possible to enjoy the benefits of a sport which can be enjoyed at all ages.

The club are proud of their fully inclusive program of events and activities and offer great value, excellent coaching for all ages and abilities run by experienced, support.
They work closely with the LTA CWAC and friends of Castle park to organize and maintain the courts in Castle Park Frodsham to ensure great facilities for all our community. More details about Helsby Tennis Club can be found at www.helsbytennis.co.uk

The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provides funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. The fund can award up to £170,000 per year across 2 funding cycles by Frodsham Windfarm and Belltown Power (https://belltownpower.com/uk/).
