The funding will support their plans to install Solar Power to build on the Eco-Bronze award that they have previously been awarded.

Andrew Jones, Chair of the Marshes Community Benefit Fund, said;

“The panel were delighted to support Main Street Community Church with the funding provided. The church is a focal point for many organisations and the grants will indirectly benefit a large number of individuals. The reduced running costs will allow community groups to use the facilities without the need for an hourly charge to be levied on them.

Gareth Morgan from the Main Street church said;

“Main Street Community Church is deeply grateful to the Marshes Community Benefit Fund for supporting our solar panel project. As a Christian community committed to serving Frodsham, this grant enables us to continue offering our buildings at minimal cost to local not-for-profit groups – creating space for connection, support, and community flourishing.”
