Helsby’s Hornsmill Pre-School received their award for £20,000 from Dianne Walker, Chair of the MCBF
The money together with additional funding, will go towards creating a footpath from the A56 near the village petrol station through to the school field. This footpath is intended to relieve some of the parking and traffic congestion in the residential area adjacent to the pre-school and allow a ‘Walking Bus’ to be offered for pupils.
Currently, the proposed pathway is overgrown and fenced off and all are looking forward to seeing the works proceed in the coming months!
