Alvanley Cricket Club now have a brand new ground store built and insalled at the club thanks to MCBF!
The club needed a dry secure place to store the machinery used to maintain the grounds.
They recognise the value of maintaining equipment and extending the shelf life of machinery to ensure we get best value for money.
Additionally, they implemented a maintenance schedule to regularly check and service the machinery to prolong its lifespan. By taking these proactive measures, the club aims to save money in the long run by avoiding costly repairs or replacements. They understand the importance of proper equipment maintenance in ensuring the smooth operation of the grounds and the overall success of the club.
Alvanley Cricket Club was formed in 1884 to provide opportunities for local residents of the village to engage in cricket and to socialise as a community. These values are still retain to this day.
The club has evolved and provides a safe, nurturing environment in which young and old from the local community can access physical activity irrespective of age, gender or ability and socialise in a warm, welcoming environment.
