The Elton Larder CIC Awarded £1,000 Golden Grant

The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a Golden Grant of £1,000 to the The Elton Larder CIC

This will enable them to help many families not just from Elton but the surrounding villages. At the current time they help as many as 60 families a day. With the membership to fareshare this will enable them to help so many more families as well as more community projects.

They help to supply free packed lunches to children in the school holidays and support the local after school club, pensioners afternoon tea etc..

The Elton Larder CIC aim to help the most vulnerable in our community. They believe it’s a basic human right to have access to food. As a community project, they strive to achieve zero waste. So many families are struggling through this cost of living crisis & they endeavor to make life a bit easier for them. The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provide funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. Golden Grants are available for up to £1,000 with applications to be submitted in a creative format.
