The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a grant of £10,000 to Frodsham CE Primary School

The grant will be used to fund their Nourishing Futures project to revitalize their kitchen facilities to enhance out of hours activities. This will include re-modelling the kitchen area to create additional space, upgrading the kitchen appliances, purchase new cookware and installing additionally safety features such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits and non-slip flooring.
The Out of hours activity programme is designed to provide a safe, educational and engaging environment for students outside of school hours. Additionally, The facility is used throughout the year by Kids Activity World, Holiday clubs, local toddler groups and by Frodsham beavers and cub scouts group.

The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provides funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. The fund can award up to £170,000 per year across 2 funding cycles.
