The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a grant of £12,000 to Castle Park Arts Centre.
The project involves removing and replacement of the Centre’s old, end-of-life fire alarm with a modern and reliable new version. The current alarm was installed in 1984 some 40 years ago and is now showing signs of irreparable wear and tear.
The vision for the Arts Centre over the next 10 years is to make people happy through culture, support, inspiration and entertainment. Their overriding aim is for everyone who visits or uses the Arts Centre to enjoy themselves and leave feeling good and look forward to returning.
The Arts Centre aims to stimulate knowledge and understanding of the Arts in their broadest sense and to improve the perception, enjoyment and awareness of the Arts regionally, locally and especially in young people.
