Kingsley Primary Nursery School Awarded £56,305

The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a grant of £56,305 to Kingsley Primary Nursery School

The award will allow the school to invest in a multi-purpose games area incorporating a tennis, netball and football facility.

The new environment with effective resources and equipment will allow them to offer an increased range of physical and sporting activities. This new facility will provide an excellent resource for a whole range of physical activities for both children and adults from the wider community in addition to numerous local sports clubs.

Kingsley Community Primary and Nursery School are a one form entry school situated in a beautiful, semi rural spot on the edge of Kingsley village. Community is at the heart of the school ethos and they have a strong working relationship with parents and families within the immediate village, as well as with the neighbouring areas of Frodsham and Helsby.

The school are passionate about meeting the needs of children from as young as three years old. The Early Years department provides a nurturing environment that inspires all children to start their learning journey through a fun, engaging and motivating curriculum ensuring that our families are at the heart of the children’s experiences.

Kingsley Community Primary and Nursery School are constantly looking for ways to broaden and develop the curriculum to continue providing an engaging, interactive day that is full of fun. They offer a wide range of additional opportunities from many different sports clubs to exciting residentials. The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provides funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. The fund can award up to £170,000 per year across 2 funding cycles.
