The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a grant of £20,000 to Helsby Hillside Primary School

The award will create a multi-use enclosed sports area where children can practice their cricket and other ball skills in a safe environment.
The construction of a MUGA (Multi use games area) would build on the school’s passion for cricket (Sophie Ecclestone, the world current top bowler being an ex-pupil) as well as supporting other school successes in both netball and basketball, having reached regional inter-schools finals in the current academic year.
The mini MUGA would be accessible to the local community at open events and external groups would have use of the facility during school holidays
