The award will fund the purchase of a new mower to maintain the green to the standard required. In recent years the Bowling Club has been recognised by the local and county associations and we have been asked to stage both county and league fixtures for all gender groups.

The Bowling Club is open to all and residents in both the MCBF area and beyond are able to not only join the club as social members but they are also able to compete in local leagues and other competitions in the North West if they so wish.

Members also compete in a local snooker league. The Bowling Club currently has members from Northwich, Frodsham, Helsby and Ellesmere Port.

The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provides funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. The fund can award up to £170,000 per year across 2 funding cycles.
