The Marshes Community Benefit Fund are delighted to award a grant of £10,098 to Halton and Frodsham Harriers

The funding will allow the club to purchase a cover for their Long jump pit and allow them to install fencing around the long jump pit to protect the facility and to reduce ongoing maintenance and cleaning costs.
This project will improve safety by reducing slip hazards and preventing glass and rubbish from entering the long jump area. It will create a safer and more welcoming facility for athletes. It will tidy the area for the many frequent users of the park within the community and deter anti-social behaviour. The facility will also be available for other groups/schools for use.

Andrew Jones, Chair of the Marshes Community Benefit Fund, said
“The panel are delighted to support this application from Halton and Frodsham Harriers. It will help to maintain the clubs mission to encourage participation, skill development, social groups and enjoyment of athletics for all ages across the region.
