The Marshes Community Benefit Fund were delighted to award £91,393 to a number of community groups in the latest funding cycle.

The panel were pleased to award grants to 7 community groups who represent a wide cross section of society. A significant proportion of the local community will benefit directly or indirectly from the projects that will be funded as a result of these grants. As always I want to thank the panel who volunteer their time to support the grant process.
- Frodsham and Villages School Partnership received £60,000 to purchase 2 minibuses. The partnership consisted of Helsby High School and 11 local primary Schools.
- Main Street Community Church were awarded £18,000 to fund a solar panel project.
- Frodsham JFC were awarded £8,000 to support a grass playing surface development and enhancement project.
- Come and Sing Community Choir received £2,960 to fund their 25th concert celebrations and marketing activity.
- Litter Network were granted £1,000 to create a ne litter network in Helsby.
- St Pauls Parish Church received £750 to cover the cost of a new sound system for outdoor services, specifically the Remembrance Sunday service.
- Manley Parish Council were awarded £683 to purchase a new defibrillator to replace their current obsolete model.
The Marshes Community Benefit Fund provides funding to local Community groups, charities, schools, businesses and clubs to support not-for-profit projects designed to benefit the local communities. The fund can award up to £170,000 per year across 2 funding cycles by Frodsham Windfarm and Belltown Power (https://belltownpower.com/uk/).
