I hope it’s OK but I have submitted early. Also, you will see that I have submitted on behalf of the Knit and Stitch Community Group. I am so enthusiastic about the Golden Grants that I really want to support other groups for whom an award up to £1000 will make such a difference. The impact on the STAR Peer Bereavement Support Group has been amazing. Not only does it mean that our future is secure, but when we reported the news to the group they were really quite moved by it. One person said that the group receiving this award made her feel that her grief was recognised. I had never thought of that!
