The Marshes Community Benefit fund are delighted to award a grant of £15,000 to Ince Parish Council to support their Ince Village Hall project

The grant will be used to rejuvenate a piece of land by the new housing estate so that it can be maintained to ensure that the entrance to the village more presentable. It will also make walking around the area safer whilst being sympathetic to the wild life. Local residents are keen to tidy up the village to make it a place to be proud of. The entrance area to the village is important as it sets the impression people have of Ince immediately.

The aim of the Ince Parish Council is to protect, enhance and make the Village the best place for the residents and visitors.
Ince Parish Council have Pride in our Village days throughout the year where villagers get together to tidy and clean areas of the village. This project will allow them to continue the work that they have started supported by local villagers.
The village of Ince dates to medieval times and there are 26 listed buildings and Items within the Parish. The majority of the work is within the Conservation area and the rest of the planned work is within the proposed Conservation area extension.
Ince Parish Council have a Heritage to be proud of and one we need to maintain. By maintaining the project, they can ensure that the environment is kept looking its best and is safe for people to walk around and enjoy the benefits of the work.
